Emma Hampton
“I want all schools to be able to bring out the very best in all of the children, especially the most vulnerable learners. My area of specialism enables me to support and advise our schools on all aspects of their SEND provision, ensuring inclusive and inspiring educational opportunities for personal growth and development.”
Emma has been in education for 19 years, having worked in most year groups, with the majority of her career teaching upper key stage 2. She is a Specialist Leader of Education for Special Needs as well as holding the National Award of Special Educational Needs Co-ordination.
Prior to joining Transform Trust as SEND Associate, Emma was instrumental in gaining a Challenge Partners Area of Excellence Award for “Improving Outcomes for Vulnerable Learners” in a Transform school. This award led to the publishing of an
article for Inspiring Leaders: “A Strategic and Evidence- based approach to enable vulnerable learners to succeed.” In 2019 Emma achieved the NPQSL.
As the SEND Lead Associate for Transform, Emma has organised and delivered whole-Trust INSET provision with a focus on issues such as, Children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing as well as working individually with schools on their SEND provision. She is a train the trainer for “Leading Mentally Healthy Schools” and department for Education’s Engagement model and has delivered workshops for Nottingham City’s Routes to Inclusions for priority families.
